Psychotherapy is collaborative partnership that’s initiated by your presenting struggle, driven by your therapy goals, and deepened by recognizing your strengths and working through what gets in the way of you feeling your best. Whether you’re seeking psychotherapy to feel different, improve your relationships, or heal from trauma or systemic oppresion, we will work together to create a customized treatment plan to meet your needs.

Although I have training in several evidence-based therapies, my approach is primarily informed by Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT). From a place of compassion and non-judgement, I draw on EFT principles and tasks to support you with connecting to your stuck emotions, so that you can feel, express, make meaning, and transform them. My philosophy of practice stems from trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and strength-based perspectives. I welcome diversity and honour the ways in which our identity is shaped by our intersectionalies. My approach is gentle yet direct, practical and solution oriented, and informed by the following values: Safety, Respect, Compassion, Integrity, and Hope.
